Wow, I have been comming to LDate for about a year and I can say I have seen alot of faces but I can also say there are too many of you ladies who are not posting your pictures. How can you expect to find someone without posting a picture? I will tell you I am not a pretty girl at all but I was brave and put me out there anyway and I found the girl of my dreams here. Everyone isn't beautiful but we still have an inner beauty that can be seen by looking into your eyes or a smile that says I want to be friends but I am scared of regection. Don't be scared, we are all looking for someone to love and to care about us and for us to care about them. I am here to tell you this is the place to find that someone. You have to work it daily and keep up with what and who is comming into the group because I have been comming here for so long I can say people don't stay here very long, you give up and think noone will want you which is not the truth. Get real unless your playing games and put your face out there, just like me you are pretter than you think and someone will connect with you.

Memphis, I'm sure your experiences have influenced your opinion of yourself but you are a very beautiful woman. Do not let anyone else take that knowledge from you....never give someone that much power over you.

I think a picture really does show who a person is but not only do you look at their picture but you look at their words. Because without one the other is left incomplete. They compliment each other very well. Generally if a person just says like one sentence and has a good picture don't you question it it a little? Most people don't look if you don't have a picture that's true. But If a profile has a picture but not really a good bio they still don't get much. it shows they don't really care.

Hi everybody, I am new to this site and would like to comment on the picture thing. As important as inner beauty is, there still has to be chemistry, I mean, if you are not physically attracted to somebody, would you want to be intimate with them? Oh how many times I have looked into the mirrow and didn't like what I saw, age is a terrible thing it robs us from what didnity we have left. Your a very pretty girl and should be able tohoop up with someone here, but did i read correctly are you still married and in that relationship if so you need to make a desion to stay with a man who isn't making you feel good about yourfelf or take a big chance end thaat drama and let life go on,but becareful what you wish for you might get it.Take the chance if you really what to make the change loving a woman is very different than loving a man you still can't be to sure and if this will be your first relationship that you have with a woman take it slow just because we are all calling ourselves lesibans we still are all different. no one i know how you feel i know no one wants me and that is a fact. i have been rejected to many times to feel any other way. just to let you all know my husband of 13 year as of july 5th has cheated on me 3 times and yes i know i am stupted for staying, but i have no place to go. i have had 2 girlfreind leave me. right now i feel very unpretty and very unwanted. plus i have tryed to look but it does not help that i am a shy person when i met someone face to face

yada yada yada..bottom line is... if you don't post a pic, people will assume you're probably not too cute..& nobody REALLY means it when they say looks don't matter...unless they're also not too cute, or are in denial. Also, profiles w/o a picture suggest someone reclusive, unfriendly or deceptive, seems to me.. it Kinda discourages possible contacts to open up communication or to build a frindship/relationship with you... ya think? ~( =: r)

Hello Nooone...i am looking more for inner beauty than outer one, so no pictures on profile don't matter to me. I get to know them by reading their profiles, i read carefully how they describe themselves and the words they use.
